DVD Yearbooks: More Details
Is it a normal DVD or a DVD-ROM which only works on computers?
We produce normal DVDs which work on normal DVD players as well as computers.
Why not CD-ROM?
Because you can watch a DVD on the TV with friends or family. With a CD_ROM, you have to cram around the computer.
CD-ROM was a popular format for all sorts of multimedia productions during the 90's, and it is still in use for some commercial promotional use. Even CD_ROM yearbooks have been around since the early 90's, but they never really took off because of compatibility issues and the fact that they hold so little video footage.
DVD also has far greater capacity than CD-ROM, meaning you can have hours of full widescreen video footage.
